U Got Game
U Got Game was a Philippine interschool PC game development competition event organized by IGDA Manila as well as the computer science organizations of the top universities of the Philippines. It was held on Saturday, September 18, 2004, at the Philippine Trade Training Center in Roxas Boulevard, Pasay City, Metro Manila.
The event was aimed at the student sector, specifically at the college level. It also featured a cosplay competition.
U Got Game was followed by U Got Game Pro in 2005.
About
U Got Game was organized by IGDA Manila, Ateneo University's Computer Society of Ateneo (CompSAt), De La Salle University's La Salle Computer Society (LSCS), University of the Philippines' UP Association of Computer Science Majors (CURSOR), and Mapua's Organization of Technical Innovation (OTI).
Live service publisher Level Up! also participated to celebrate the Juno update of Ragnarok Online.[note 1]
The event was sponsored by PLDT, Microsoft, Intel, and GamesMaster Philippines.[1]
