Massive Gaming was a Philippine live service gaming portal of Massive Interactive Revolution, Inc. It was unexpectedly shut down in April 2015 when its company presumably ran out of funds and its CEO was accused of various crimes, including fraud, tax evasion, and non-payment of employees.

History

Massive Gaming was launched in 2012 with two shooter titles: the third-person Mercenary Online and the first-person War Inc.

In 2013, competing online game publisher ABS-CBN Multimedia Inc. announced on its Amped website its impending closure on May 31, 2013. ABS-CBN Multimedia transferred both the publishing rights of its FPS title WarRock to Massive Gaming. With the acquisition of the new title, Massive Gaming closed the less popular War Inc. on May 3, 2013.

In May 2014, during the GameX Mercs Final Tournament event held on May 9, 2014, Massive Gaming revealed its first MMORPG title, The Aurora World.

In April 2015, both the portal and its owner, Massive Interactive Revolution, Inc., were unexpectedly shut down.
