ABS-CBN Multimedia Inc.
ABS-CBN Multimedia Inc. was a Philippine live service game publisher. It was a wholly-owned subsidiary of ABS-CBN Corporation through ABS-CBN Interactive Inc. from 2004 until 2013. It is best known for its online gaming portal Amped.
History
The company was established as the live service gaming branch of ABS-CBN Interactive Inc. in 2004. Its first title is the MMORPG Tantra.
On September 1, 2007, it held Amped Fest 2007 where the company launched its new online gaming portal Amped.
It was closed on May 31, 2013, alongside Amped due to "unfavorable business conditions".[1] It transferred the publishing rights to one of its games, WarRock, to the then-newest publisher in the country Massive Gaming.[2]
ABS-CBN Multimedia Inc. and ABS-CBN Interactive Inc. were merged back into its parent company ABS-CBN Corporation in March 2015 to clean up the latter's corporate structure.[3]
