The Aurora World

The Aurora World was a free-to-play MMORPG developed by Chinese developer Aurora Interactive for Microsoft Windows. It was published in the Philippines by Massive Gaming from 2014 until 2015.

The Aurora World was first revealed in the Philippines during the GameX Mercs Final Tournament held on May 9, 2014, at SM North EDSA Cyberzone Annex in Quezon City, Metro Manila.

Both Massive Gaming and The Aurora World were unexpectedly shut down in April 2015, after the former's CEO fled the company. The sudden closure revealed how the company was grossly mismanaged and showed, among other fraudulent and criminal activities, that it was not paying the required royalty shares to Aurora Interactive.
