IP Interactive Inc. was the original subsidiary of IP Ventures Group Corp. for gaming and multimedia businesses in 2005, prior to the creation of IP E-Game Ventures, Inc.[1][2][3] In 2007, the IP Interactive brand was revived and used as a separate brand for premium, pay-to-play games.

About

2007 revival as a premium brand

In 2007, the IP Interactive brand was revived as a separate entity from the main E-Games portal when IP E-Games acquired Granado Espada in partnership with IAHGames. Aside from publishing Granado Espada, IP Interactive was planned to be the exclusive distributor of games from IAHGames.[4]

The separation was done to avoid conflict with E-Games' "freedom to play forever" brand image, as Granado Espada was then a subscription-based game. When the game became free-to-play, it was then placed under E-Games' roster and the IP Interactive brand was never used again.

IP Interactive was also the planned brand to handle the distribution of Hellgate: London in the Philippines.[5] The game, however, never launched in the country.
