IP Interactive launches new gaming concept

IP Interactive, the gaming and multimedia business arm of IPVG Corp. (IPVG), a publicly-listed venture capitalist firm, introduces a new concept in online gaming with the launch of e-Games Philippines www.e-Games.com.ph).
e-Games.com.ph is the first and only online gaming portal in the country to focus exclusively on providing games with unlimited game play, ranging from Casual games for leisure gamers, to MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games) for hardcore fans.
Unlike other gaming publishers in the market that require prepaid cards to be "topped up," e-Games Philippines uses a value-driven, item-based purchasing economy where gamers can acquire virtual items through an "e-point" system in order to ascend to more challenging levels as well as compete against higher-level gamers.
First on the docket for IP Interactive is 02Jam, the number one ranked Casual music game in the world, as well as Battle Position, a side-scrolling action shooter that is the first real-time game of its kind in the country. O2Jam, a "beatmania" type of game, is the first online music game to ever hit the Philippines and is currently a special entry at the World Cyber Games competition, the world’s leading venue for cyber athletics.
Following its Casual titles is the much-anticipated flagship MMORPG of e-Games, RAN Online, the number one ranked MMORPG in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Malaysia, as well as the fastest growing title in Thailand. In RAN, players can choose from one of four fighting classes: hand-to-hand Combat, Sword, Archery and Qi-gong, each class boasting its own unique system of martial arts, weapons and attributes, as players must defend their selected campus against dark, supernatural elements and the persistent threat posed by rival schools.
