Perfect World is a free-to-play MMORPG developed by Chinese developer Perfect World Beijing. It is best known as one of the earliest MMORPGs with extensive character customization.

It is also one of the earliest MMORPGs licensed outside of China that emulates the quest-driven progression of Blizzard Entertainment's World of Warcraft, essentially a "WoW clone" theme park experience, as the latter was widely popular in China, although the leveling grind for the game became infamously notorious towards the end of the level cap.
