Nightfall: Escape

Nightfall: Escape is a 2016 single-player survival horror game developed by Philippine development studio Zeenoh Games for Microsoft Windows.
The game also has paid DLC called Nightfall: Escape VR. It is a VR-supported game that serves as a prequel to the main game.
Development and marketing
Nightfall: Escape was made using the Unity game engine.
The game participated in the Square Enix Collective. To become eligible for the Steam platform, it participated in the Steam Greenlight program in 2014. Zeenoh Games originally planned to crowdfund the game on Kickstarter, but eventually backed down.
Player reception
The game received mixed to negative reviews. Players criticized poor game design choices and a buggy final product. Some players also noted its poor graphics and voice acting.[note 1]
Nightfall: Escape VR was also reviewed negatively, with the main criticism being unable to properly start the game.
Recognition
- Won "Most Outstanding Narrative Story" in the local ICT Creative Awards 2015
Note
- The game was released in 2016. Steam had a reputation for quality games back then, and "lo-fi" horror games were not the norm for paid games .
