Tokyo Game Show 2016

The Tokyo Game Show 2016 or TGS 2016 was an industry trade show held from September 15 until 18, 2016 at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan. Seven independent game developers from the Philippines participated in the event.

The business days were held on September 15 and 16 (Thursday and Friday), while the public days were held on the weekend of 17 and 18.

About

The Philippine Board of Investments (BOI) in cooperation with the International Game Developers Association (IGDA) Manila and the Philippine Trade and Investment Center in Tokyo (PTIC-Tokyo) organized the participation of six game developers from the Philippines to TGS 2016.[1] These six developers were set up at the "Asia New Stars" section of the event.

A seventh developer, Games by Nico, was selected and sent by Sony[2] to participate in Sony's indie showcase at the event.

  • Popsicle Games - Scratch 2 Win, Kong Want Banana, Darkest Light, Super Daivolter Z
  • Moocho Brain Interactive Designs - Paper Worlds
