About
Squeaky Wheel Studio was founded in 2015 by Ryan Sumo, Tristan Angeles, and Marnielle Estrada, to release the strategy game Political Animals. Ryan Sumo is best known as the Filipino artist who worked on Prison Architect. In 2017, the company released its second game, Academia: School Simulator.
In 2021, Squeaky Wheel ceased active game development, and the cofounders and employees have gone their separate ways. Sumo maintains the company as a publisher and business consultant to help indie developers.[1]
