Ragnarok the Animation

Ragnarok the Animation is a 2004 Japanese-Korean anime series based on the South Korean MMORPG Ragnarok Online. It is comprised of a single season with 26 episodes. Due to the massive popularity of Ragnarok Online in the Philippines at that time, a locally-dubbed version of the anime was produced and broadcast under ABS-CBN network.

The anime revolves on the journey of five adventurers to stop the Dark Lord from consuming the world of Rune-Midgard.

About

Philippine television network ABS-CBN Broadcasting Corporation partnered with Ragnarok Online's local publisher Level Up! to acquire the rights to produce and distribute a localized, Filipino-dubbed version (called Tagalog-dubbed) of Ragnarok the Animation in the country.[1] The first episode of the localized version was aired on ABS-CBN channel 2 on October 11, 2004.

A Filipino version of the anime's opening, "We Are The Stars", was produced by Star Records and was performed by the Star Circle FAB 5.
