Nexus Pixels Entertainment Studio

Nexus Pixels Entertainment Studio is an independent game development studio based in the Philippines responsible for developing and publishing the MMORPG Pacifica Online.

Nexus Pixels Entertainment Studio was registered on January 13, 2012, under the SEC number PG201200183.

About

Nexus Pixels was founded on January 1, 2010. The team originally had four developers, Galileo Lajara, brothers Jeremiah and Justine Aaron Torrevillas, and Donnie Ray Gianchand. All four were graduates of STI College Marikina.[1] The team began developing Pacifica Online in April 2010 and released it in November 2010.

The company participated in the Philippine Game Development Festival 2011 where it presented under the "Game Development for Small Teams" track.[2]

Open-source tools

Nexus Pixels promoted the use of open-source tools. Pacifica Online was built with tools such as Blender, GIMP, and Audacity.[3]

As Gilator

The team behind Nexus Pixels rebranded under a new team "Gilator" and attempted to develop Edge of Time: Rise of the Aeus in 2018.
