GameX

GameX was a game credit (ePIN) distribution portal launched by Philippine-based telecommunications company Smart Communications, Inc. in 2014. Unlike traditional distributors like Load Central, which requires middle-man retailers, GameX allows the users of Smart's line of cellular services, Smart, Talk N' Text, and Sun Cellular, to either use their mobile prepaid load and convert it directly into game credit, or have it charged to their postpaid bill.

While the primary business model of Gamex comes from live service games, the brand has promoted esports in the country.[1] It helped organize and sponsor tournaments such as the TNC Gaming Cup 2014 Dota 2 Division,[2] and it was the co-presenter for the 2014 and 2015 events of the annual Electronic Sports and Gaming Summit series.

GameX Girls

GameX selected five females as its brand ambassadors in 2014. The first one is Alodia Gosiengfiao, while the remaining four were the winners of the "search for GameX Girls" competition that culminated in the 2014 Electronic Sports and Gaming Summit. The winners were Alexandra Keuls, Koleen Mercado, Jillian Ongsip, and Tza Gomez.[3]
