About
On September 15, 2011, the developer of the FPS Special Force, Dragonfly GF Co. Ltd., terminated the license of the game from Gameclub, the game's Philippine publisher since 2008. Dragonfly handed the license to Singaporean publisher DF (Dragonfly) Interactive Pte. Corp.,[1] a joint-venture of Dragonfly. Gameclub wanted to renew the license, and its unexpected termination began a social and legal fight between the companies.
DF Interactive established Netmarble Phils. Corp. in 2011. DF Interactive then transferred the publishing rights to Netmarble Phils. on October 8, 2012, to prevent legal issues.[2]
