SEGA Asia and RGG Studio SEA held a private Philippine launch party for the game Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth on Thursday, January 18, 2024, at The Island at The Palace in Bonifacio Global City, Metro Manila.

The event came weeks before the actual global launch of the game on January 26, 2024.

The launch party is the first official Yakuza/Like A Dragon event organized by SEGA. Aside from media and influencers, fifty fans were invited through RGG Studio SEA Facebook page, while ten more were given through the biggest Facebook group for the game series, Yakuza: Majimaposting Royale.

Hiroyuki Sakamoto, the game's producer, attended the event, stating that it was his first time in the Philippines.^[1]
