Honor of Kings Philippines Clash 2024
The Honor of Kings Philippines Clash 2024 was an online and on-ground open tournament which ran from July 20 until 27, 2026. Its qualifiers, group stages, and playoffs were held online except for the grand finals, which were held on Saturday, July 27, during the Philippine GameDev Expo 2024 convention at SMX Convention Center Manila in Pasay, Metro Manila.
It is the first major tournament for Honor of Kings in the country, which was announced immediately upon the game's global release on June 20, 2024. Blacklist International is the champion of the tournament. The tournament had a prize pool of ₱620,000.
About
Clash 2024 was the first major tournament in the Philippines, announced immediately on the day of Honor of Kings' global release[1] to market the game and compete with the dominant MOBA in the country, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. The tournament was advertised as the first "Nationwide Grassroots Tournament", with "grassroots" being emphasized by the marketing team to contrast the gated esports scene of Mobile Legends with MPL Philippines' franchise-based system.
Any amateur or professional team could join the tournament, although the organizers directly invited four professional teams: Blacklist International, Execration, BOOM Esports, and Team Flash PH. Boom Esports declined the invitation due to a scheduling conflict with the upcoming SEA Showdown tournament, and Team Flash PH was represented by "Looking for Turon", a team that already qualified during the first qualifier leg of the tournament.[2]
The first and second qualifiers were held on the two weekends of June 22 and 23, and July 13 and 14, 2024, respectively. The group stages, up to the grand final, ran from July 20 to 27, 2026. All matches were held online, except for the grand finals, which were held on-ground on July 27 during the Philippine GameDev Expo 2024 convention.
The two invited pro teams, Blacklist International and Execration, reached the grand finals. Blacklist International won the tournament.
