Honor of Kings

Honor of Kings is a multiplayer online battle arena developed by TiMi Studio Group (a subsidiary of Tencent Games) and published globally by Level Infinite for iOS and Android. The game was launched globally, including the Philippines, on June 20, 2024, nearly a decade after the original Chinese version was launched in 2015.
The Chinese version of the game is called 王者荣耀, which directly translates to "Honor of Kings".
In the professional esports scene, Malaysia is considered to be the top region outside of China. The Malaysian pro scene has been involved with the Chinese pro scene for several years before the 2024 global launch.

Arena of Valor
An international adaptation of Honor of Kings, called Arena of Valor (AoV), was published in the SEA region, including the Philippines, in 2017 under Garena. The game was not popular and was overshadowed by its more popular competitor, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. While the game has little presence in the Philippines, the country still sends AoV teams under SIBOL to compete in the Southeast Asian Games.
