IPVG forms joint venture with Singapore's iGames

INTERNET service provider IPVG Corp. said it has entered into an agreement with iGames Asia Pte Ltd. to form a joint venture that will exclusively sell, distribute and publish iGames products in the Philippines.

IPVG will own 70 percent of the joint venture, while the rest will be owned by the Singaporean distributor of interactive entertainment software.

No other details were given.

IPVG is the parent company of IP Interactive, which publishes the online games RAN Online, Dreamville, O2Jam and Battle Position in the Philippines.

In Singapore, iGames Asia is the exclusive distribution and marketing partner for Blizzard Entertainment's World of Warcraft. It also operates the online games A3 and Vital Sign. iGames is also the regional distributor of Vivendi Universal Games.
