Street Fighter's Yasmine
Yasmine is a fictional Filipino fighter from the Street Fighter franchise. She was first introduced as part of Street Fighter 6's Year 4 DLC during Capcom's presentations at the Summer Game Fest 2026 on June 6, 2026. She is expected to be released in the game on August 3, 2026.
While not officially confirmed, the name "Yasmine" is most likely based on the Arabian Jasmine flower, also known as Sampaguita in the Philippines.
In Street Fighter 6, she is voiced by Filipino-American voice actor Abigail "Abby" Espiritu in the English voice pack.
Background
The lore in most Street Fighter games revolves around a World Tournament that attracts fighters from various nationalities.

"Yasmine, a highschooler hailing from the Philippines joins the fight to search for her long-lost brother. Despite her shy and gentle demeanor, Yasmine beams with confidence whenever she uses her crescent-shaped karambit knife to dance around her opponents at high speed just like her Lolo taught her."
