Ragnarok Landverse
Ragnarok Landverse is a free-to-play Web3 MMORPG developed and published by Singaporean company Maxion Pte. Ltd. since 2023, in partnership with Ragnarok Online's South Korean owner, Gravity Co., Ltd. It is an official Web3 variation of Ragnarok Online.
A different Web3 MMORPG, Ragnarok Landverse: Genesis, was launched by Maxion in 2025. It features distinct gameplay mechanics and utilizes the Ronin blockchain.
Many of its offline events were held in the Philippines, such as participating in the YGG Web3 Games Summit and ESGS 2023. Maxion also manages a separate Thailand service for the game.
Web3 platform
The game supports the BNB Smart Chain and uses the USDC cryptocurrency stablecoin. The primary marketplace requires ION tokens to buy and sell, which can be converted into and from USDC. Players can also earn ADAM tokens in-game, which can be traded for ION tokens.[1] The gas fee is paid using BNB tokens.[2]
