PokéCon PH 2023

PokéCon PH 2023 was a Pokémon fan convention organized by the Pokémon Philippines community. It was held on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at the Upperbox event hall of the Promenade Mall in the Greenhills Shopping Center in San Juan City, Metro Manila, Philippines.

It is the first PokeCon PH event in the series. It was followed up in the same year by PokéCon PH Market! Market!.

About

The event includes cosplay competitions, merchandise booths, and the on-ground grand finals for PokéCon Cup 2023, a community esports tournament for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

Special guests

  • Allan Jeffrey Bacar: The author of the Sskait comics.
  • Klariz Magboo (DJ Kara): The voice actress of Ash Ketchum in the Philippine dub of Pokémon anime in GMA 7.
  • Jefferson Utanes: A dubbing director and the voice actor of James in the Philippine dub of Pokemon anime, but is best known for voicing Son Goku in the Dragon Ball series.
