Otaku Pop Fes 2026

Otaku Pop Fes 2026 was a two-day Japanese pop culture convention in the Philippines, organized by Japanese entertainment company CyberE Co., Ltd. and co-organized by local event organizer CBZN Perspective, in partnership with Okada Manila. It was held on the weekend of April 25 and 26, 2026, at both the Cove and Grand Ballroom venues of Okada Manila in Parañaque, Metro Manila.

The mobile video game Umamusume: Pretty Derby participated in the event, making Otaku Pop Fes 2026 the first official Umamusume event in the Philippines.

About

According to Akinori Osaki, executive producer for Cyber E, Otaku Pop Fes served as a spearhead event by the company for future events in both the Philippines and across Southeast Asia to promote various Japanese IPs.[note 1]

Otaku Pop Fes 2026 was a combination of a pop convention and a live music concert. It took place in two venues of Okada Manila: The Grand Ballroom, which hosted the anime exhibition booths and the stage programs, and Cove Manila, which served as the area for cosplay activities, Japanese pop culture showcases, and evening concerts.

The convention was described as a celebration of Japanese pop culture, which includes anime, games, cosplay, and music. For games, only the Japanese company Cygames participated in the event, showcasing the digital card game Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond and the mobile game Umamusume: Pretty Derby in exhibition booths. It was the first official Shadowverse and Umamusume[note 2] events in the Philippines, with the latter being notable due to the game's niche but dedicated fanbase in the country. Several attendees cosplayed as Umamusume characters during the event.
