Matteo Guidicelli's controversial PlayStation 4 unboxing video

On June 2020, Filipino-Italian actor Gianmatteo Fernan Guidicelli, better known as Matteo Guidicelli, published a controversial unboxing video on his YouTube channel where he unboxed a sponsored PlayStation 4 Pro bundle. It gained notoriety for his lack of enthusiasm in the video and his sloppy unboxing of the package.

About

On June 2, 2020, Matteo Guidicelli published a video on his YouTube channel entitled "Unboxing Playstation Pro 1TB". It was an unboxing video of a sponsored package sent by PlayStation Asia and Filipino distributor Gameline which contained a PS4 Pro 1TB bundle that included the games "God of War (2018)" and "The Last of Us Remastered", and two additional games, "Gran Turismo Sport" and "Final Fantasy VII Remake".

Guidicelli was widely criticized for seemingly being disinterested in the video, as well as his sloppy handling of the package which includes ripping the package sleeve and haphazardly throwing parts of the package on the floor. He admitted that it was his first unboxing video.

The video was parodied by other content creators online. As of June 12, 2023, the video has a dislike proportion of at least 85%.[note 1]
