GBPlay, Inc.
GBPlay, Inc. was a Philippine live service publisher and was a wholly-owned subsidiary of Smilegate Worldwide Pte. Ltd., the SEA publishing arm of the South Korean Smilegate Group. It was established in 2014 to publish games in the Gameclub portal. In 2019, it was replaced by South Korean publisher Smilegate Megaport, Inc.
Smilegate is the South Korean developer of the FPS game CrossFire. As its subsidiary, GBPlay emphasized growing the esports scene of CrossFire. This includes organizing the CrossFire Stars Invitational: Manila, the first international CrossFire tournament in the Philippines.
