Duaw Davao Festival 2024 Inter-Barangay MLBB Tournament
In June 2024, during the Duaw Davao Festival 2024, the Davao City government, together with Davao Esports, held a free inter-barangay Mobile Legends: Bang Bang tournament as part of the festival. The main on-ground tournament was held on Sunday, June 30, 2024, at the Davao City Recreation Center (formerly known as the Almendras Gym) in Davao City.
The event was organized by the Davao City Tourism Operations Office and the City Government of Davao, together with Davao Esports and MLBB E-project. It had a prize pool of ₱150,000.
64 teams from various barangays in Davao City participated in the main on-ground tournament. Mintal-All Stars from Barangay Mintal won the tournament.
This Mobile Legends tournament was followed by season 2 during the 2025 Festival Esports Tournament.
About
Mechanics
Each of the 182 barangays in Davao City could send at least 5 teams with 8 players, composed of 5 main players and 3 substitute players, to participate in the online qualifiers. Each player must be at least 15 years old.[1]
Online qualifiers were held in the previous weeks leading up to June 30 to select the top 64 teams that qualified for the main tournament.
Prizes
The tournament had a prize pool of ₱150,000. The champion received ₱50,000, the first runner-up ₱35,000, the second runner-up ₱25,000, the third runner-up ₱15,000, and the fourth to seventh runners-up ₱5,000 each.[2]

The champion of the tournament was Mintal-All Stars, a team from Barangay Mintal. The team was represented by the following:[3]
